— Summer H. During the recent storms, our Redwood tree shed a large branch on our fence on one side of our property, and parts of it came down. We needed to replace the whole side of fencing, including the tricky section on either side of the Redwood.
We chose JAZ for the project out of the 3 well reviewed companies we spoke with because Alberto asked us several questions that showed that he was thinking the project through, and because Gloria, who we were communicating with, was super responsive to our emails, and was proactive in messaging us about dates, etc.
The team came on time and built the 80' of fence in one day. Overall, it looked great. Unfortunately, 3 weeks later, we had another storm and another massive branch fell on one section of the fence and broke the top frame 2"X4", toppling the planks. JAZ came out and did the repair within the week. They also followed up on a couple of details from the initial build, per our request, and Daniel did a great job with the finish.
I've heard from other friends/neighbors with their experience with other fence companies, and we are glad that our experience is so much more positive. I especially appreciate how responsive they have been through the process.

The price to replace a fence varies greatly. Here in the Silicon Valley, it can cost anywhere from $45-$100+ per linear foot to replace a fence. The key factors that determine the cost of a fence are:
- Length. Total amount of linear feet you would like to replace or install. Typically, the more linear feet you need, the more you save on the cost.
- Height. Normally a 4 foot tall fence will cost significantly less than an 8 foot tall fence. The reason is because an 8 foot tall fence will require more material and more labor.
- Style. If you are looking for a modern horizontal fence, you can expect to pay more than a traditional nail on style or board on board Fence style.
- Material. A con common Fence will 90% of the time be more affordable than a clear heart Fence. is the material of a fence cost more than the standard, it will cost more.
- Craftsmanship. Quality matters and that is why you will see that a licensed and insured fence contractor will charge more than one that is not. It is definitely a risk if you opt to go with a person that is not licensed or insured because the quality is not guaranteed. It is always best to do your research before accepting a Fence proposal.
- Property Terrain. If your fence is on the mountain side with lots of Slope and it takes 10 minutes to haul material to and from the truck, you can expect to pay a tad more than someone with a fence that has easy access. Even if both fences are 50 feet long it is quite possible that the fence that is on the mountain side will take twice as long due to the terrain.

Replacing your fence can take as fast as 1 day! Our teams of 2-3 are able to demolish and build a new fence that is up to 80’ long in 1 day because of their experience, teamwork, and hard work. If you are replacing multiple fences in your home, it can take a few more days to complete whichever might be the case we will be transparent and keep you updated.

Yes! We provide warranty on our craftsmanship. This covers any error on our part. Since wood is a natural product it is bound to change with the elements and is susceptible to cracking, splitting, changing color, etc. Any sagging or wobbling or signs of loss of stability will be covered.
